She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a major in painting from San Francisco Art Institute and is now a Member-at-large on the executive board at New Zone Gallery in Eugene, OR.
“Colors in oil push further than in plastic...--This is why I paint exclusively in oil: there are more ways (and more time) to manipulate color while yet pliable in the wet. You can change it, but you can’t go back...”, she says.
“There’s a certain inherent thrill in the risk of drawing with ink pen rather than pencil: once you lay down a line, you can’t take it back. Its crispness is beyond any other medium”, she adds.
